VaultMaster

Secure sharing

Send photos or videos as one encrypted file, opened with a six-word phrase you send separately. Opening a share is free.

How a secure share works

Choose Select items, pick what to send, then Share securely. VaultMaster makes one encrypted file and a six-word phrase. Send the file (AirDrop, Messages, email) and the phrase in a different message.

The other person opens the file in VaultMaster, which is free, and types the phrase. You can set an expiry and an open limit.

What we see

Nothing. The file doesn’t pass through any server of ours, and we never see the phrase.

What it can’t do

We’d rather tell you plainly than have you find out later.

  • Expiry, open limits and view-only are enforced by VaultMaster on the other person’s phone. They stop casual forwarding, but they can’t stop someone who copies the file first, changes their clock or photographs the screen.

Questions

Yes. You can set an expiry and an open limit. VaultMaster enforces them on the other person’s phone.
