VaultMaster terms of use
Last updated 23 October 2026
Using VaultMaster
VaultMaster is for your own personal use. Please don’t copy, resell or reverse engineer it, or use it to break the law.
What VaultMaster is and isn’t
VaultMaster is private storage. We can’t recover a vault if you lose both your pattern and your recovery phrase, and no app can stop screenshots or protect a vault from malware on an unlocked phone. Keep backups of anything you can’t replace.
Purchases
VaultMaster is free with three vaults, 100 photos and 10 videos. VaultMaster Pro removes those limits and is available monthly, yearly (both renew automatically) or as a one-time lifetime purchase, through the App Store. No security feature is behind Pro.
Purchases are made through the App Store and can be restored on another device signed in to the same account. Refunds are handled by Apple under their own policies.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel them in your Apple account settings. If you cancel during a free trial, you won’t be charged.
Your data
Everything you put into VaultMaster stays on your device, and we don’t keep a copy. That means we can’t recover it if your device is lost or reset, so please keep your device backed up.
Updates
We may update, change or stop VaultMaster at any time, and we’ll try to give notice of anything big.
No guarantees
We work hard to make VaultMaster good, but it’s provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for losses that come from using it. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have by law as a consumer.
Ownership
VaultMaster, its design and its code belong to Powered By Thistle. Anything you create with it remains yours.
Apple’s terms
If you got VaultMaster from the App Store, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
Changes and law
We may update these terms, and the date at the top will change when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland.
