VaultMaster privacy policy

The short version

VaultMaster doesn’t collect your personal data. Everything you put into it stays on your device, where we can’t see it. Purchases are handled by Apple, and no other company is involved.

What stays on your device

VaultMaster keeps your vaults, with everything in them encrypted, and your settings on your device. None of it is sent to us or to anyone else, and there is no account or server copy. Your pattern and recovery phrase are never stored in a form we, or anyone else, can read. If you save a backup file, it’s encrypted and saved wherever you choose, such as Files or iCloud Drive.

What leaves your device

The app makes no network requests of its own. A secure share is an encrypted file you send yourself, by AirDrop, Messages, email or Files; it doesn’t pass through any server of ours.

Permissions

VaultMaster only asks for a permission when you use the feature that needs it, and you can change your mind in Settings.

Camera

Only if you take a photo or video inside the vault. It goes straight into the vault, encrypted.

Photos

Only if you choose to remove the originals after an import. iOS asks you to confirm, and removed items stay in Recently Deleted for 30 days.

Purchases

Purchases are made through the App Store. Apple handles the payment and tells the app on your device what you’ve bought. We don’t receive your name, email address or payment details, and VaultMaster doesn’t use any third-party purchase or analytics service.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t ask you to make an account.
  • We don’t use analytics, crash reporting or tracking of any kind.
  • We don’t show ads or use advertising identifiers.
  • We don’t sell or share your information.
  • We don’t send notifications.

Deleting your data

Because your data lives on your device, you’re in control of it. Deleting VaultMaster removes everything it stored. There is nothing on our side to delete.

If you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address and your message. We use them only to reply and to improve VaultMaster, and we don’t add you to any mailing list.

Children

VaultMaster doesn’t collect personal information from anyone, including children.
