BlockGrid privacy policy

Last updated 2 October 2026

The short version

BlockGrid doesn’t collect your personal data. Everything you put into it stays on your device, where we can’t see it. The only thing that leaves your device for us is an anonymous check that a purchase is valid.

What stays on your device

BlockGrid keeps your current run, best scores, trophies, puzzle progress and settings on your device. None of it is sent to us or to anyone else, and there is no account or server copy.

Permissions

BlockGrid only asks for a permission when you use the feature that needs it, and you can change your mind in Settings.

Photos (add only)

If you save a picture of a run or trophy, BlockGrid asks to add it to your photo library. It can add pictures but can’t see your library.

Purchases

Purchases are made through the App Store, and we never see your payment details. We use RevenueCat to confirm that a purchase is valid. When you buy or restore, RevenueCat receives your purchase history for BlockGrid and an anonymous identifier created by the app. It isn’t linked to your name, email address or any account, and it isn’t used for advertising or to track you. RevenueCat’s privacy policy is at revenuecat.com/privacy.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t ask you to make an account.
  • We don’t use analytics, crash reporting or tracking of any kind.
  • We don’t show ads or use advertising identifiers.
  • We don’t sell or share your information.
  • We don’t send notifications.

Deleting your data

Because your data lives on your device, you’re in control of it. Deleting BlockGrid removes everything it stored. There is nothing on our side to delete.

If you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address and your message. We use them only to reply and to improve BlockGrid, and we don’t add you to any mailing list.

Children

BlockGrid doesn’t collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. BlockGrid is made by Powered By Thistle. Questions are welcome at hello@poweredbythistle.com.
