Thistle Invoice terms of use
Last updated 2 October 2026
Using Thistle Invoice
You’re welcome to use Thistle Invoice for yourself and for your business. Please don’t copy, resell or reverse engineer it, or use it to break the law.
What Thistle Invoice is and isn’t
Thistle Invoice helps you create invoices and keep records. It isn’t accounting or tax advice: you’re responsible for what your invoices say, for keeping the records the law requires and for the tax you pay. The tax jar is an estimate.
Purchases
Thistle Invoice is free for three invoices a month, with unlimited quotes. Thistle Invoice Pro is available monthly, yearly (starting with a one-week free trial) or as a one-time lifetime purchase.
Purchases are made through the App Store and can be restored on another device signed in to the same account. Refunds are handled by Apple under their own policies.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel them in your Apple account settings. If you cancel during a free trial, you won’t be charged.
Your data
Everything you put into Thistle Invoice stays on your device, and we don’t keep a copy. That means we can’t recover it if your device is lost or reset, so please keep your device backed up.
Updates
We may update, change or stop Thistle Invoice at any time, and we’ll try to give notice of anything big.
No guarantees
We work hard to make Thistle Invoice good, but it’s provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for losses that come from using it. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have by law as a consumer.
Ownership
Thistle Invoice, its design and its code belong to Powered By Thistle. Anything you create with it remains yours.
Apple’s terms
If you got Thistle Invoice from the App Store, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
Changes and law
We may update these terms, and the date at the top will change when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland.
