SnagLine terms of use
Last updated 16 October 2026
Using SnagLine
You’re welcome to use SnagLine for yourself and for your business. Please don’t copy, resell or reverse engineer it, or use it to break the law.
What SnagLine is and isn’t
SnagLine helps you record and report snags. It isn’t a survey, a certificate or professional advice, and you’re responsible for what your reports say.
Purchases
SnagLine is free for two sites at a time. The SnagLine Unlock is a one-time purchase that adds unlimited sites, every report design, your own wording, spreadsheet export, folders and the widget. Optional tips are one-off purchases that don’t unlock anything.
Purchases are made through the App Store and can be restored on another device signed in to the same account. Refunds are handled by Apple under their own policies.
One-time purchases on the App Store can be shared with your family through Family Sharing.
Your data
Everything you put into SnagLine stays on your device, and we don’t keep a copy. That means we can’t recover it if your device is lost or reset, so please keep your device backed up.
Updates
We may update, change or stop SnagLine at any time, and we’ll try to give notice of anything big.
No guarantees
We work hard to make SnagLine good, but it’s provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for losses that come from using it. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have by law as a consumer.
Ownership
SnagLine, its design and its code belong to Powered By Thistle. Anything you create with it remains yours.
Apple’s terms
If you got SnagLine from the App Store, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
Changes and law
We may update these terms, and the date at the top will change when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland.
