Atlas terms of use
Last updated 5 October 2026
Using Atlas
Atlas is for your own personal use. Please don’t copy, resell or reverse engineer it, or use it to break the law.
Purchases
Learning every country is free. A one-time purchase, Atlas Plus, adds four more quizzes, typed answers, rounds of 30 to 50 questions, and Name them all by continent and for the whole world. There is no subscription. Optional tips are a way to say thanks and don’t unlock anything.
Purchases are made through the App Store and can be restored on another device signed in to the same account. Refunds are handled by Apple under their own policies.
One-time purchases on the App Store can be shared with your family through Family Sharing.
Your data
Everything you put into Atlas stays on your device, and we don’t keep a copy. That means we can’t recover it if your device is lost or reset, so please keep your device backed up.
Updates
We may update, change or stop Atlas at any time, and we’ll try to give notice of anything big.
No guarantees
We work hard to make Atlas good, but it’s provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for losses that come from using it. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have by law as a consumer.
Ownership
Atlas, its design and its code belong to Powered By Thistle. Anything you create with it remains yours.
Apple’s terms
If you got Atlas from the App Store, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
Changes and law
We may update these terms, and the date at the top will change when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland.
